Melissa Wozniak
Voice students fifth-grade and older, specializing in the developing female voice. Current and former students have succeeded at NYSSMA Solo Festivals (with several All-State level singers) and musical theater endeavors. Typical one-hour lesson includes: guided warmups, vocalises, and technique work; intensive study of repertoire of various genres; and studies in musicianship, ear training, and music theory.
David Wozniak
Woodwind students middle-school aged and older, specializing in single-reeds but offering lessons on all woodwinds. Current and former students have successfully applied to college music programs, succeeded at NYSSMA Solo Festivals, and participate in numerous concerto competitions.
EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC
Melissa also has over ten years of experience leading early childhood sessions (children aged nine months to seven years). She is available for weekly classes and birthday parties.
A typical thirty-minute session can include: silly songs, creative student-led movement activities, instruments (rhythm sticks, triangles, shakers, etc.), scarves, bean bags, and lots of musical play!
